Big night at the GATES with four new personal bests and new course records! Carter made his GATES debut and set the new standard of 8:39! Julia lowered the girl’s record to 9:27! Leo and Isaac set personal bests of 9:10 and 9:13, respectively.
We had strong day at the Fibonacci 4k! Max and Isaac won the men’s relay with a time of 14:30. Myah and Lindsey were victorious for the women in 15:59. Julia and Camryn were the second women’s team in 16:56. Maggie and I teamed up and finished second in the mixed relay with a time of 20:26. Sera’s mom, Sue was the overall women’s winner in 18:51!
We also has a vision of the past with former Juggernaut, Matt Kisenwether, winning the 4k title in 14:45. And a glimpse into the future with Devon and Monika snagging 4th overall women, Seki Chappell finishing on the 6th place women’s team, and Gretel and Claire crossing the line as the 7th place women’s team.
It was a fun race and everyone had a blast.
Our third run to the GATES produced more personal bests and new course record for the girls, Sera at 9:38. Julia produced the fastest debut time with a9:40 clocking. Leo added a personal best of 9:23.
The group got two quality runs plus some swimming at Poe Valley State Park this weekend. Luckily the storms stayed at bay.
Our second run to the GATES produced more personal bests and new course record for the girls, Sera at 9:51. Lindsey dipped under 10 for the first time at 9:57. Zach added a personal best of 9:05 as he and Max finished side by side. Isaac and Leo added personal bests of 9:25 and 9:35, respectively.
Last night we had our first run to The Gates. New course records were established by Max (8:57) and Sera (10:10)!
